Groupon - Rotten Customer Service and Unhappy Customer - Groupon and Home Chef

I feel their company is shady, as I purchased a "Home Chef" voucher for one week of three meals for four people at the introductory rate of $75. Sounded great. I waited for them to mail it and by accident found out it was an on-line voucher. When I tried to register to use it, the merchant would not process my order without my personal credit card information and automatically enrolling me in their auto send program. This was NOT in the fine print or I would not have ordered it. I am a very thorough shopper and read all fine print and customer reviews prior to purchasing anything. When I tried to resolve this with customer service I was told the only thing they would do is let me trade the value for local merchandise. Unfortunately where I live, Port St. Lucie, FL. there are no similar merchants nor even any restaurants in my vicinity that Groupon participates. I explained this to the customer service representative and asked if they'd issue me a credit that I could use on their site and promised I would be a good customer and spend more than the $75 I initially paid. The rep was rude and uncooperative. I am done with Groupon and remind anyone who shops there: Buyer Beware!
