Groupon has not returned my money yet


I purchased a groupon on December 17th, 2011 for “A Perfect Day Spa” from Groupon’s website for $34. I went to the business at their Fremont location on December17th
The business was not able to redeem the groupon when they try to scan it on my iphone. It would not register.
As December 17th was a Saturday, I was not able to get hold of groupon customer support as you do not provide customer support on weekends.
Finally, the business owner said that the coupon was only valid starting dec.18th. So, they told me to come back.

When I got home, I logged on to Groupon website and it said that the groupon is already used.
How can I use my groupon on Dec. 17th, if the groupon was only valid after Dec. 18th. So, here I am. I cannot use the groupon and the website says I have already used it. So, I called up groupon on December 19th and registered a complaint and asked for a refund.
The customer support said that they will verify with the business and get back to me in 24-48 hours.
It has been more 72 hours and I hadn’t heard from Groupon yet. I am obviously exasperated at the level of customer services from Groupon.

I had submitted a refund request by calling customer service on Monday, December 19th for a groupon I purchased for for “A Perfect Day Spa” from Groupon’s website for $34.
The customer service representative told me that they will verify with the business if the groupon was used or not and get back to me in 24 hours.
For the next 3 days, nothing happened.
Then, I call Groupon again on Thursday, December 22nd. The customer service rep. said that we will get back to you in 48 hours.
Today is Friday and no one has called me or emailed me or anything. There is no response.
I submitted a complaint to groupon customer service and they have not responded after 5 days.
This is now a cry for HELP. Is groupon this bad of a company?
I hope someone will contact me soon.
