Groupon is a scam. The customer service representatives give you unclear answers so that way you won't really understand what's going on until you call them. I purchased many deals and used quite a few. unfortunately I have to leave the country and I have 3 groupons that are worth only $27 all together so I messaged groupon asking to cancel the orders cause of a last minute emergency. everytime I messaged them a different person replied telling me different things. one person said they will make an exception and give me the refund and another said its not in the rules for the reasoning I gave them. and another person literally just copied and pasted the rules of groupon. I was shocked at how horrible the service was. also when I called the lady on the phone had the audacity to tell me its a low amount and she implied that cause it's onlt $27 it's not a big deal. Now I'm stuck with groupon deals. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY GROUPON DEALS . how do you think th company makes money? they convince people that it's a great deal and once they receive the payment they don't care what happens after that. MY FRIEND HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT A RESTAURANT AS WELL SO SHE WALKED OUT CAUSE THE SERVER YELLED AT HER AND GROUPON SAID ITS NOT SOMETHING THEY CAN CONTROL. are you kidding me. this is all a scam.
